Standard we aim for
We design and build this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard recommended for Australian government and service websites. We test regularly and continue to improve.
What we've put in place
- Clear, consistent structure using proper headings and landmarks
- Full keyboard operation, with a visible focus indicator on every control
- A "Skip to content" link for screen-reader and keyboard users
- Colour combinations that meet AA contrast requirements
- Text that can be resized and reflows when you zoom in
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Forms with clear labels, required-field markers and status messages
- Respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your device or browser
- Plain, readable language throughout
Known limitations
Our Contact page includes an embedded Google Map, which is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible to every assistive technology. Our full address and phone number are always shown as text alternatives so you never need to rely on the map.
